The Eye Foundation, coimbatore is an ultra modern facility, founded by Dr.D.Ramamurthy, in the heart of Coimbatore. In this centrally air conditioned six storied building devoted exclusively for eye care, there are 5 operation theaters, 16 consulting rooms, 12 Optometry rooms and more than 40 patient rooms. A 200 seated auditorium, conference hall, laboratory, drug store, state of the art Optical outlet and hygenic cafetaria. A similar hospital at Tirupur spread over 50,000 Sq.ft offers all the above facilities and caters to the needs of the population in those districts.

Ooty branch of The Eye Foundation at Coonoor Road, Near Elk Hill Road Junction was inaugurated on Sunday, 10 th July 2011. The inaugural function was held at Hotel Sullivan Court, Ooty.
