Experience

• Completed MS in the year 2007 and joined as Assistant Professor in the Department of Cataract and IOL Services, Aravind Eye Hospitals, Madurai (2007-2010)under Dr. Haripriya and was trained in Phacoemulsification with foldable IOL implantation , managing complicated cataracts and secondary IOL implantation.
• Trained Postgraduates, national and international trainees in Small Incision Cataract surgery and Phacoemulsification surgery.
• FROM AUG 2014 TILL NOW - As Senior Consultant , PG cataract surgery trainer and Phacoshaala trainer at The Eye Foundation, Coimbatore.

RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

• Submitted M.S., Thesis titled Comparison of External with Endonasal Surgical Dacryocystorhinostomy.
• Did study on Iris fixated IOL s and their safety profile and presented it in State and National Conferences.
• Actively participated and had been a Co -Guide in Clinical trials conducted in the Department of Cataract and IOL Services, Aravind Eye Care System, Madurai.
• Guide for DNB thesis - Comparison of visual outcomes and internal aberrations following implantation of diffractive trifocal intraocular lens and extended depth of focus intraocular lens.
