Current Position: Consultant - Cataract and Anterior Segment, NABH team leader
Areas of Interest
Cataract - phacoemulsification with IOL implantation.
Anterior segment diseases, especially meibomian gland disease, ocular surface dysfunction and dry eyes.
Ocular trauma in occupational and vocational settings.
Community outreach - associated with several NGOs, bringing eye care closer to underserved communities and school children in the Nilgiris.

Two years at a charitable eye institution in the Nilgiris, performing SICS and phacoemulsification surgeries, 2009-2011.
Consultant Cataract and Anterior Segment at The Eye Foundation, 2011 onwards, with extensive experience handling outpatient and surgical cases.
NABH team leader at The Eye Foundation, Ooty, responsible for quality standards, hospital safety and infection control since 2013.
