Eligibility: MS/MD/DNB Duration: 18 Months Clinical Exposure:
- Various Corneal Disorders, External Eye Disorders
- Refractive Surgery
- Cataract surgery including topical phacoemulsification.
Investigations
Corneal Tomography, Aberrometry, Specular Microscopy, Automated Keratometry, IOL Master 700, Work Up for Refractive Procedures, Corneal Ulcer Work Up, Eye Bank Procedures
Procedures (Performed independently)
- Phacoemulsification including topical cases.
- Penetrating Keratoplasty (Therapeutic and optical)
- Lamellar keratoplasty,
- Pterygium Excision with conjunctival autograft,
- Procedures related to Ocular surface Disorders (Amniotic Membrane Grafts, Mucous Membrane Grafts, Keratoprosthesis: under supervision)
- Corneal Refractive Procedures: Surface Ablation, Microkeratome LASIK, Femtosecond LASIK, Small Incision Lenticule Extraction,
- Phakic IOL’s, Refractive cataract surgery (Femtosecond Laser Assisted Cataract Surgery): under supervision
- Programme will include Case Discussions, Seminars, Clinical Meeting Presentations, Periodic assessment, maintenance of log book and final exit examination

Fellowship in Vitreo-Retinal Surgery
Duration: 18 Months + 6 Months (Clinical adjunct) Eligibility: MS / MD / DNB
Programme will involve:
- Training in Indirect Ophthalmoscopy & Slit Lamp Biomicroscopic Fundus Examination
- Training in Retina OPD for Independent Case Disposals’
- Training in relevant Investigative Procedures – B Scan, OCT, FFA, Fields etc
- Training in Laser Photocoagulation Procedure
- Understanding and management of diabetic retinopathy
- Intra Vitreal Injection administration
- Supervised Hands on experience in vitreoretinal surgical procedures
- Independent management of scleral buckling procedure
- Case Discussions, Seminars, Clinical Meeting presentations
- Periodic assessment and maintenance of log book
- Scientific paper presentation / publishing paper
- Exit examination
Stipend: Rs 50,000/PM
