Ophthalmologist with over five years of clinical experience in Comprehensive ophthalmology, 
Retinal and vitreous pathologies, ROP and Uvea. Skilled in a multitude of vitreous retinal 
surgeries with a long-term retina and vitreous fellowship from LV Prasad Eye Institute 
(completing in December 2025). Proven research background with multiple peer- reviewed 
publications and national conference presentations. Committed to high-quality patient care and 
academic advancement in ophthalmology

  • Long term Fellowship (retina and vitreous)– LV Prasad Eye Institute, GMR Varalakshmi campus, Visakhapatnam (January 2023 – December 2025)
  • Worked as Senior Resident (July 2022- December 2022) –Dr.D.Y. Patil Medical College, Pune  

Surgical Experience :

  • Proficient in a multitude of Vitreoretinal procedures including intravitreal anti VEFG 
    injections(500), retinal detachments surgeries(80), macular hole surgeries(10), ERM 
    peeling surgeries(25), Silicone Oil removal procedures(100), Diabetic vitrectomies(50), 
    pars plana lensectomies and secondary IOL implantations(50).
  • Well versed in variety of laser procedures including – PRP laser, LIO, focal and 
    micropulse laser, Nd Yag capsulotomy and peripheral iridotomy, etc
  • Skilled cataract surgeon – has performed more than 1000 SICS and more than 300 
    Phacoemulsification surgeries.
  • Has done more than 100 ROP lasers and anti VEGF injections in ROP babies.
  • Experienced in managing all types of endophthalmitis – performed more than 300 
    Vitreous biopsies, intraocular antibiotic injections, and pars plana vitrectomy in 
    endophthalmitis(100).
  • Also skilled in other ophthalmic procedures like scleral tear repairs,lid tear repairs, 
    pterygium excision, DCT, enucleation,etc.
