I recently underwent Femto Contoura lasik at The Eye Foundation in Kochi with Dr. Umesh Krishna, and I am thrilled to share my experience. Initially, I was apprehensive about the procedure, especially with the thought of having my eyes open during the procedure. However, Dr. Umesh was incredibly reassuring. He took the time to explain each step of the process and kept me calm by talking to me throughout the procedure. The procedure itself was virtually painless. While I did experience a mild burning sensation for a few hours afterward, Dr. Umesh advised me to rest through it. Following his advice, I felt much better after a short nap. To my surprise, I was encouraged to use my phone immediately after the surgery to help adjust my vision, which was contrary to my expectation of avoiding screens for at least a day. Overall, my experience at The Eye Foundation was outstanding. The pre and post-procedure care was well-organized, and the reception staff and counselor were both friendly and supportive. Their guidance and encouragement played a significant role in my decision to proceed with the surgery. I highly recommend The Eye Foundation, Kochi for anyone considering LASIK.
