Dr. Allen Mathew completed his MBBS with distinction from Pushpagiri Medical College, Thiruvalla, in 2019 and obtained his MS in Ophthalmology with First Class from Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram, in 2023. He has also undergone additional training in SICS and Phacoemulsification from reputed institutes including M.M. Joshi Eye Hospital, Hubli, and Nandadeep Eye Hospital, Sangli.
He has one year of experience as a Senior Resident at Government Medical College, Kollam. His clinical expertise covers comprehensive eye examinations, refraction, glaucoma and retina evaluation, squint assessment, and advanced diagnostic procedures including OCT, B-scan, corneal topography, and perimetry.

Dr. Allen is skilled in cataract surgeries (SICS and Phacoemulsification), intravitreal injections, corneal procedures, pterygium excision, lid surgeries, and minor oculoplastic procedures. He is also proficient in retinal laser treatments such as pan-retinal photocoagulation, focal and grid laser, peripheral iridotomy, barrage laser, and YAG capsulotomy.

He has published 4 research papers and has 8 manuscripts under evaluation. His achievements include winning the Gold Medal in Ophthalmology during MBBS (2019), KSOS PG Gold Medal (2022), securing State Rank 3 in the KUHS MS Ophthalmology Exam (2023), and being recognized as the Most Prolific Author in the KSOS Kerala Journal of Ophthalmology (2024). His areas of interest include cataract, glaucoma, and retinal diseases.
