The Eye Foundation is proud to share that it has been honored for its CSR initiatives during 2025 at the Rotary India National CSR Awards 2025, held in Bangalore on October 17, 2025.
At The Eye Foundation, we believe that true community development extends beyond healthcare to include education, empowerment, and equal access to opportunities. In 2025, we addressed a critical need at Government High School, Othakkalmandapam, which educates over 500 students, mostly from underprivileged backgrounds. The school struggled with insufficient classroom space, causing overcrowding and shared classrooms.
To support the school, The Eye Foundation funded the construction of a two-classroom block on campus. These new classrooms feature ample ventilation, natural lighting, and a safe environment. This upgrade aims to provide students with a focused, distraction-free space and enable teachers to conduct lessons more effectively.
